Véronique Leblond, Professor in Hematology, works at Sorbonne University and at Pitié Salpêtrière Hospital, Paris, France. She is the co-chair of FILO (French Innovative Leukemia Group) involved in acute myeloid leukemia, chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia (WM), involving more than 90 centres in France. She is responsible for a rare tumor network (K-VIROGREF) dedicated to the management of transplant recipients with virus-induced tumors, funded by the french national cancer institute (INCA). The team focuses on chronic B-cell lymphoproliferative disorders (CLL, WM), amyloidosis, ocular and CNS lymphoma and lymphoproliferation in immunosuppressed patients (HIV, organ transplanted patients). She is a member of the French society of Hematology and the American Society of Hematology. She is connected with several active patient associations and charities: Laurette Fugain, SiLLC, International WM Foundation, Waldenström France. She is an author of over 400 research articles, books and book chapters.
