Expert bio

Dr Toby Eyre is a consultant haematologist at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, UK, specialising in the management of lymphoid malignancies. His focus is the management of patients with lymphoma and patients with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL).

He completed an MD Doctorate Thesis in early phase trials and biomarker studies in aggressive lymphoid disease in 2017. He completed his haematology training in the Oxford Deanery between 2010 and 2017. He is an investigator on a number of national UK lymphoma and CLL trials, he has published over 100 peer-review articles and presents regularly at national and international conferences.

He is a core member of the low-grade lymphoma and elderly high-grade lymphoma National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) clinical studies group and a member of the British Committee For Standards In Haematology (BCSH) guideline writing groups for various lymphoma subtypes. He is a member of the British Society of Hematology (BSH) Haemato-Oncology Task Force and the CLL Forum executive committee. He also has a strong interest in teaching and training and has completed a post-graduate Diploma in Medical Education.
